Sustainable comfort at The Meetings Show with Venues of Excellence

Venues of Excellence member venues are committed to sustainability with over 65% of member venues holding green, sustainable accreditations and other venues in the process of being assessed.

As part of our Preferred Partner Programme, Mayan Interiors over the past year have worked with several of our member venues to refurbish their venues and it seemed the natural choice for us to touch base with them to see if they could help us bring an element to our 2023 stand at The Meetings Show to showcase sustainability.

Our new sofa has been made using Christina Marone fabric Cambio in Teal and will offer a comfy seat to buyers looking to speak to Venues of Excellence about their conference and events.

To complement the sofa is our solid oak table, stained with Morrells fumed grey stain before being lacquered.

Vicky Allison, Sales, Design and Procurement Manager at Mayan Interiors said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed supporting Mandy and Christine for their upcoming exhibition. Designing a bespoke sofa and coffee table and working with our client to choose finishes and fabrics, the exhibition stand will showcase just some of the beautiful furniture we can manufacture here at Mayan Interiors.”

The Venues of Excellence stand (B50) at The Meetings Show will be represented by 15 members venues and commenting on the latest additions, Mandy Jennings, CEO said: “It’s always a pleasure to work with our preferred partners to let them showcase their skills and in this case to have a bespoke piece of furniture which is unique to Venues of Excellence.  I am sure both items will be quite a talking point at the exhibition for visitors to the stand and I do look forward to having a comfy seat when meeting with our clients!”
